The reason Hostgator is as big as they are now is because they CARE about their customers. On the other hand, you don’t seem to care about your customers. Your servers corrupted databases on approximately 50+ of my websites, which happened on Feb 10th, and it’s the 14th right now, and after numerous emails to you, the problem isn’t fixed, nor have you replied back to me in a timely manner to even let me know you’re working on the problem, or you’ve done anything at all.
I’ve been trying to get the problem with my databases resolved and you appear to not care that your server corrupted all my databases. I contacted some outside help, and here is what one source is saying the problem is:

…Your hosting company’s server config is either out of space or they have altered security/permission with respect to how MySQL is allowed to store its data and do its regular operations. In short, log an urgent ticket with your hosting company if the problem persists.

It’s been a couple of days now and the problem isn’t fixed. I asked you to restart the MySQL and I haven’t gotten any response from you as of yet.
I am now convinced that you’re a one-man operation because you take days to even respond to replies. I’m paying and I have all my websites on your server and I’m not getting any relief from you.
I need help right now with fixing my databases. I hope you get on it because I’m really upset with your service. You don’t appear to take my issue seriously.
I have been patient with your service, but you won’t even reply to emails. I have to resend emails hours and days later and still my emails go unanswered. If you’re that busy… HIRE SOME HELP!
Right now, that’s the difference with Underpricedhost and Hostgator. They immediately work on their customer support, whereas you take days, if that, before you even reply back. Your customer support turnaround is seriously flawed. You need some help or you need to get out of the business because I’m almost sure you’re costing other people money, just like you’re doing to me at this point.
It’s 4 days now and you have done NOTHING to fix the problem you created. I have websites that I haven’t touched in months and they too have their databases corrupted, and most of my websites show the same error message, which states that it is a MySQL problem.
I didn’t want to post here, but you left me no choice. I’m trying to make money just like you’re trying, but how can I even sell any of these services when you won’t even support my issues. I’m not going to be trying to sell these servers and have people complaining to me because they can’t get in touch with you.
You don’t even have a Toll-Free no#. They only cost $11 per month.
You don’t have a “Support Ticket” website or similar.
You don’t answer emails in a timely manner. 19+ hours later isn’t timely.
I’ve even sent you an email today, and it’s well over 6 hours and you haven’t even replied to that email.
It would be in the best interest of your business to help your customers and not ignore their complaints.
I NEED MY WEBSITES’ DATABASES FIXED NOW!!!! If that’s not asking too much.
For the prices Hostgator and other hosting companies charge, it’s worth it when you know you’re getting quality service.

We are sorry for the same.
Actually we were upgrading the servers.
We were moving the MYSQL to a new SSD (Solid State Drive) to increase performance.
Hence you experienced erors during that period.
Everything is solved by now.
Thank you for the reply. I would not have posted here if someone would have kept be in the loop.
The problem I now have is that this has literally cost me money. Here’s how:
1. All of my sites being down left my Google AdSense not earning me any money.
2. I had to literally pay $134 to purchase a server account, which now I’m trying to get a refund from them. If I can’t get a refund from them, I’m out $134 because of this.
I would not have purchased that server account if someone would have informed me of what was going on. For 4 days ALL of my sites were down and it cost me money in sales and earnings.
All I ask is that you at least email your clients in a timely manner before they go out and do something like, spend money when they don’t have to.
I’ll put this behind me, but I feel you should do something to [compensate me] because my main business is hosted on your server and I lost out quite a bit of money being down and not knowing what was going on.
I run a business and I’m a member of the Better Business Bureau with a rating of “A”. I hope to get to “A+” sometime soon.
I also hope you really consider setting up a “Support Ticket” web page and getting a “Toll-Free” no#. Too many businesses are now hiding behind emails and that’s not good for business.
Having a phone no# will give you more credibility and build trust in other peoples’ eyes.
Besides those problems, I don’t have any other complaints.
